We tie the knot!

IN 13 MONTHS EXACTLY! :) We have almost been engaged for a month now! WOW!

Kaden can....

Kaden is 10 1/2 months old! Some new stuff that he can do....

Stand on his own, walk very good when holding or pushing something, crawl up stairs, brush his hair, brush his teeth, he can wave, and point!
He now eats turkey, chicken, cheeses, and can feed himself really well, he drinks out of his sippy cup really good on his own considering he is strictly breastfed.
He says dog, kitty, mom, dad, all vowels, growls, points, uses lots of sign language. He uses his hands to say "no" and "more"
He already has a certain "pooping corner" to do his business! lol
He sleeps through the night without a nursing feeding! He sleeps everynight from 930-7 or 730!  During the day he takes 2 naps that last 90 min-2 hrs!
He has 4 very cute teeth and some more on the way.

He is an awesome baby! I love him.  I dont see him as a baby, he is seriously a little man!!! :)
He is never stops moving so he has really trimmed out, he is very healthy and active.

For the past month he has been rebelious when is comes to the carseat and stroller.  He wants to stand in both and doesnt like to be strapped in. He prefers to be FREE!!! Diaper changes are very hard these days.  He prefers to roll over and crawl away once the diaper is off and I usually have to put the diaper on while he is standing!

Kaden is a flirt when he sees people especially girls.  He is totally a mamas boy.  He clings to me and doesnt really let other people hold him unless I am out of the room.   He has a favorite blanket and yes it is pink.  It was Chris' youngest sisters blanket but he loves the fabric it has and they dont make blankets like that anymore :( We have looked everywhere.

Kaden isn't attached to his binky but still likes to put it in his mouth and then throw it! I am so glad he isn't attached to it because I was. I had my binky until I was FIVE!

He knows what he wants and when we talk to him, he understands!

Kaden is perfect. I love him.  We start mommy and me wim classes tomorrow!  We then go to Minnesota for 2 weeks to relax at the lake and see my family! :)

His 1st birthday is August 19th! I am so excited and also sad at the same time! IT WENT BY SO FAST!

Too busy

The Proposal! :)

First off.... I AM ENGAGED!  This is a huge moment in every girls life and I can't believe it just happened to me last night! WOW. 

::The proposal::

Yesterday was Chris and my "official" 2 year anniversary! June 13, 2010 Chris finally asked me to be his girlfriend after we had been dating for 2 months!  In the past 2 years SOOOOO much has happened! We found out we were pregnant, we moved in together, Chris went to nationals for EWU hockey, we found out we were expecting a little boy, Chris started working full time at the Pharmacy, Kaden was born, we bought a house, we bought a puppy, and now we just got engaged and we will be graduating in TWO days!  Pretty busy (and amazing) two years if you ask me! :) 

So... yesterday started out just like any ordinary day.  Chris went to work and I went to my internship and hung out with Kaden all day.  Then when Chris came home from work he told me he wanted to surprise me and cook dinner for us to celebrate our 2 year anniversary!  He took huge blankets and covered up the entrace to our dining room and kitchen and he also turned on some music. He did not want me to see what he was doing or cooking! haha Chris says it is really hard to surprise me, which is true.  I always end up guessing everything before it happens.  About an hour later, Chris had dinner ready for us and he made my favorite! Spaghettie pie and seasoned french bread! YUM. I am sort of like a guy in the sense if you give me good food and chocolate, I love you forever :) I thought we were just going to have a typical dinner/movie night so I gave him the gift I got him which was Sherlock Holmes 2 and then he gave me a brown box.  I seriously thought it was going to be a giftcard to go get a new swimsuit or giftcard to make something off of pinterest! Instead it was a box with scarble pieces spelling  "LOVE, MARRY ME!" He then got down on one knee, I don't remeber what he said because I was in such shock and I kept on saying, "OH MY, OH MY" and I had to keep looking at Kaden because I started to cry!!!  I said, YES! We kissed and Kaden started laughing.  

Chris did such a good job! He was creative, romantic, and himself!  The proposal he chose to do was amazing and wow I can't beleive.  He told me that he bought the ring a little over a month ago and has been waiting for the right time.  He said the perfect time is when it just the three of us eating dinner together :)  The best part is that he actually surprised me! I never thought that we would propose on our anniversary and I didn't think we would be engaged for another year! I am so happy and so blessed!  No one knew he was going to propose and only 2 people knew he bought a ring (Kaden and Chris' dad)!

I am so excited to start planning this wedding, my creative senses are tingling!  

As of now, we don't have a date set but we are looking at next summer!

I have worked my a$$ off

I have worked my ass off to finish my bachelors degree while being a new mom.  I have worked my ass off to keep on nursing Kaden for the past 9.5  months while being really busy with school, coaching, internship, etc.  I have worked my ass off to literally work my ass off!  I am proud to say 9.5 months ago I was 201 lbs and 40 weeks pregnant, today I am 144 lbs and I fit into all of my clothes (instead of a 36C like I used to be, I am now a 34 DD). But most importantly I feel really strong and healthy . I feel on top of the world and feel like I could kick some major booty if I had to!  I still have work to do with my baby pooch of stretched out skin but I am finally happy with where I am at :)

I have worked my ass off, it wasn't easy and it all didn't happen over night... but I DID IT!!!!

To never have to study for a test again.
To never have to stress about finishing a paper on a deadline.
To never have to go to class again.
To never have to learn about stuff I wont use.
TO BE DONE WITH COLLEGE!

Memorial weekend projects!

Busy weekend! Details to come later but for now I will just share pictures of my projects :)

-We made my flower box under my kitchen window finally! I love it, it makes me happy!
-I also made my brothers graduation project! I always wish I had some money laying around for gas or food while in college, hopefully he can save it for when he needs it! (Right now it has a $1 bill but when I give it to him it will have a $50 bill!)
-Then I made Chris mom a cute cupcake bouquet for her birthday! :) It turned out really good and was pretty simple! I want to make one for myself now! Very easy but cute gift!
