Memorial weekend projects!

Busy weekend! Details to come later but for now I will just share pictures of my projects :)

-We made my flower box under my kitchen window finally! I love it, it makes me happy!
-I also made my brothers graduation project! I always wish I had some money laying around for gas or food while in college, hopefully he can save it for when he needs it! (Right now it has a $1 bill but when I give it to him it will have a $50 bill!)
-Then I made Chris mom a cute cupcake bouquet for her birthday! :) It turned out really good and was pretty simple! I want to make one for myself now! Very easy but cute gift!

So I wanted to do something creative for my graduation cap other than "hire me" I hand painted EWUs symbol and then wrote words that represented important or most memorable events during my college adventure!  It turned out really good.  My hand writing with puffy paint isnt the best but I love it :) I am going to make a shadow box with my cap, tassel, grad announcement, and a picture when all said and done! :) yayyy

Graduation is in T-MINUS 4 WEEKS! Boom.

Reflection from the busy weekend

We had a busy weekend, here we go.

This past weekend my indoor soccer team had our last game.  It has been so fun to play the sport I love and to play with great friends!  I am thankful that after 4 months of indoor soccer I am still injury free minus small bruises here and there! Indoor soccer is so much fun but it also scares me because it is the leading cause of ACL tears in female soccer players and since I had a baby I figured I would get an ACL tear because of loose ligaments and all, but yay I still have both my ACLs intact :) I lok forward to next session!

Also this past weekend was the end of spring soccer for SYSA.  I coached a U10 boys team for the past 3 months and this weekend was our last games!  It was a great experience coaching them.  I have never coached boys before and to be honest, I was a little bit scared.  I somehow survived and they improved so much! 2 of the boys made premier teams for next year and I am happy I got to help them achieve their goal!  I still think that they all need to be tested for ADHD though ;)  Coaching the boys helped shed light on what Kaden might possibly be like in the future.... oh boy do Chris and I have our work cut out for us!  I look forward to coaching next Fall and getting my D coaching license!

My friend Jessica had her baby shower this past Saturday.  Kaden and I went and it was fun, someone called him an Abercrombie model! It's crazy to think that this time last year we were having Kadens baby shower!  A year goes by so fast.  She got lots of cute baby girl stuff since she is having a girl! Made me really excited to have a little sister for Kaden in the future! I like to make things for people so I made her a diaper cake, it was my first one and it turned out great :)

On Saturday, Kaden turned 9 months old! We are only 3 months away from the 1 year mark! He goes to the doctor tomorrow for his 9 month wellness check up! 9 months of breastfeeding down, 3 to go :)

 On Sunday it rained in Spokane for the first time in a long while.  Aspen got into a little trouble while digging in the backyard.  Rain, dirt, and my carpet do not go so well together ;)

On Sunday I went shopping and I fell in love with 2 dresses at Express.  They are so comfy, they have pockets, and they are a very cute style! They will be perfect for graduation and other events :) I also got a really good deal on them and best part is they are a size S :) oh yeah! They fit my unpleasantly huge boobs! woooo

What a busy but great weekend!  Now for a busy week of internship, classes, and working out! Oh and my parents will be here Friday - Monday! :) yayyyyyy gotta get the guest bedroom cleaned out asap! :)

Senior pics (college)

We decided to go and take our senior pictures this past weekend at EWU.  We did them ourselves instead of hiring someone because we would rather spend our $$$ on other things right now! Plus we just had a photo shoot a month ago and will be having a big one coming up for Kaden's 1st birthday (which is in 3 short months!!!) Anyway, traditionally people get dressed up yadda yadda but we figured hey, we are Exercise Science majors and lets be real, workout gear is all we pretty much wear.  Don't let the pictures deceive you.  It may look sunny but omgosh it was very cold and VERY windy!  All in all, they turned out great, we had a good time while shooting them, and they were FREE :)

First pin

The very first time I went on to Pinterest I saw an adorable DIY wreath for your front door.  I pinned it as my first pin ever! Now a few months later, I finally made one of my own! :) I love it. It cost about 10$ and took about 10 minutes to make :)

I am so tired and oh soooo hungry! But hey, it is Friday! Time for some fun with my cute little family, indoor soccer, coaching my boys team, and BBQ with great friends!

Kaden claps now. It is one of the cutest things ever.  He also growls at everthing, especially the dog and his toy trucks.  He is learning new things every single day, I can't catch up!  He also ate some cantalope for the first time today. He LOVED it. He loves all food though haha and he is hungry all the time just like his Mommy and Daddy.   :)
